Ice Cream With Espresso And Irish Cream
Ingredients:
2 tbsps ground espresso coffee beans
160 ml boiling water
500 g vanilla ice-cream
1/2 cup (125 ml) Irish cream liqueur
4 chocolate-coated rolled wafer stick
1. Using the coffee and boiling water, prepare coffee in a plunger. Stand for 2 mins, plunge coffee. Alternatively, combine the coffee and water in a heatproof jug, stand for 2 mins then strain through a fine sieve. Cool for 5 mins.
2. Just before serving, scoop the ice-cream into serving glasses.
3. Mum and Dad’s cups get coffee and liqueur poured over the ice-cream. Serve with chocolate sticks.
